GEM & YSYvonne is an independent Safeguarding Consultant and Trainer who is committed to working with schools, sport, community groups and organisations who have safeguarding responsibilities to keep children safe. She prepares safeguarding audits to ensure that you are meeting your safeguarding responsibilities in line with the latest statutory legislation and provides support and advice with policies, procedures and training to comply with safeguarding regulations.

GEM Compliance Training

GEM Compliance Training specialise in providing and delivering a range of accredited first aid and safety training courses to individuals and businesses. As part of their offering, they run regular Paediatric First Aid (PFA) Level 3 courses which fulfil Ofsted’s first aid requirements for early years providers and can support in the requirements outlined in the Statutory Framework for the EYFS concerning paediatric first aid. They also run regular PFA Annual Updates, so delegates can practice their skills and update their knowledge on the latest first aid procedures.

SafeguardingWe understand that meeting expectations around safeguarding provisions is not always easy, which is why we are keen to provide clarity surrounding the various safeguarding frameworks and legislations aimed at early years providers.
If you would welcome straightforward advice and support with regards to safeguarding, then join us at our FREE information evening on Wednesday 17th May from 6pm. We invite Early Years Provision Owners, Senior Managers, Child Minders, Safeguarding Leads – anyone who is responsible for safeguarding in an early years setting – to get involved and learn more.

During the evening, we will provide you with an overview and update on the April 2017 Early Years Statutory Framework guidance and best practice, including paediatric first aid requirements for the Apprenticeship Framework. We will also inform you of new services and training to support you and your organisation in your safeguarding compliance.
