This weekend I completed my paediatric first aid training for the 6th time my first with GEM. Emma delivered the course in a way that kept the audience interested and I didn’t feel like I was sitting through the course for the sake of a certificate! Brilliant afternoon, very informative. My children and elderly Mum really enjoyed it. We were able to do lots of practice on the mannequins. we learned about CPR, recovery position, choking and bandaging and we got a certificate afterwards. The staff were very friendly too.

I attended a 2hr first aid course yesterday. The staff were friendly, approachable and very willing to answer questions. They were good at coaching and picked up on and corrected mistakes in a positive manner. The equipment was of good quality and there was enough available for us to practice on.

I attended paediatric first aid training 2nd and 9th June. The tutor Catherine was friendly and approachable, not to mention knowledgable. Catherine used a mixture of methods to get people thinking and doing rather than just listening. The course was easy to book, the venue was good and the biscuits were too! Would highly recommend. They pitched at just the right level for all the children there-I work in education & it isn't easy if you have an audience who varies in age so much!! My first aid course was organised for the residents of my village. I am so glad I attended. Emma the instructor has a clear interactive teaching style and is very approachable. We covered all the topics we asked about and lots more such as stroke, head injury, heavy bleeding, heart attack, using a defibrillator and meningitis etc. Emma backed up first aid/resus guidance with an explanation of why we would do this in an understable and common sense way. We also got chance to practice cpr on models of babies, children and adults. I now feel much more confident that I would know what to do should I need these skills in the future - for all our community. Thank you again.

This is the 4th first aid course I've done and I can honestly say it's been the best , Gloria was lovely and kept it fun and interesting , we learnt new things that were not related as such to first aid but for our work with children. Spending 2 weekends doing first aid was not my idea of fun but from start to finish I enjoyed it and left after the 2sessions feeling more knowledgeable and confident that I could handle any situation should it ever arise. I have booked GEM compliance training before for my staff, this time I was the one who was attending the paediatric first aid with 2 other staff. The location is central to keighley as so easy to get to, the parking is just outside which was a bonus for me. The course was very informative, which taught me new skills and the assessment was carried out through out the day, except for the multiple choice question paper at the end of each day. The trainer kirsty was very helpful and friendly, she made all of us feel welcome and at home by carrying out small group tasks to get you thinking. The tea and biscuits where a bonus too. I will be booking you again when another member of staff are due their first aid, I'm even looking at booking a in house training for our children in the out of school club

In order to comply with the first aid requirements of many of our clients, we took up the offer of a one day first aid course with Gem Compliance Training. The aim was to ensure we had a member of staff with the relevant first aid accreditation available on every location shoot we undertake. I completed my Paediatric First Aid course over two days, 9th\10th January 2017. From arriving on the first day I was made really welcome and put totally at ease. Kirsty our trainer was superb throughout and made the two days an enjoyable experience. She was very thorough and had ways of helping you remember everything. I found the course excellent and extremely detailed and certainly with all the up to date knowledge that I had been given I felt confident when I had completed the two days that I would be able to carry out First Aid if the situation were to arise. Thank you for putting me through this excellent, value for money Paediatric First Aid course. Three other ladies on the same course wished me to also thank Kirsty and GEM Compliance.

I found the course excellent. It was a detailed run through of all the key emergency situations you could come across. The trainer Kirsty was very thorough which helped us remember the different techniques of what to do. The course was split into two Saturday sessions, with a multiple choice test at the end of each day which made it easier to remember everything. I am confident that what I have learnt I could put it into practice in an emergency, which could make the difference between life and death. Emma, the trainer on the day, was extremely knowledgeable and created a relaxed environment, making the course both enjoyable and extremely interesting. Completed first aid course on 1/10/16 over two weekends, myself and two work colleagues attended from my work place. From sitting down to leaving on the last Saturday I was made to feel relax and at ease because to be honest sitting in a classroom full of strangers is not what I find comfortable in doing, but Kirsty Binns made it a very enjoyable experience. I felt I learnt and was shown in great detail how to become a pediatric first aider and i left the course feeling confident I'd be able to use in whatever was thrown at me in any accident or incident I had to attend. It was a nice small group so much easier to listen and talk to others too. It was a relaxed atmosphere and fun too aswel as seeing real life emergencies on videos. Really enjoyed the First Aid course at Warrior Factory last Sunday. Emma was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and very patient with us all. Have to say the 6 hours went quickly and I realised that although I did still have the knowledge, it is had changed slightly since I last did my training and having the confidence to be able to give the first aid in what could be a pressure situation was important, which Emma gave me. I highly recommend this company for professionalism, focused and appropriate learning, in a very friendly manor. Gavin welcomed all of us on arrival, Emma awaited in the learning room having refreshments ready for our arrival. They have an extremely professional set up, with spares of everything for those who forget important things needed. The equipment is new and plentiful, the training was very well planned and executed. with regular breaks to allow us to re energise and free refreshments were supplied each time.
