Do you work with both adults & children but can’t decide if you need to attend a First Aid at Work course or a Paediatric First Aid course or both?

Then we have the solution for you!

We know how valuable your time is, which is why we are always looking at new and innovative ways to ensure that you receive the correct First Aid provision for both children and adults in your care – leaving you to get on with your job with minimum disruption. With this in mind, we are pleased to offer you a couple of combined course options that allows you to complete your your regulated First Aid qualifications in more streamlined timescales.

Combined Course

3 day Combined First Aid at Work & Paediatric First Aid Course (21 hours)

We have combined our First Aid at Work Level 3 training and our Paediatric First Aid Level 3 training together so you can complete both these regulated qualifications in 3 days (instead of the usual 5). This way you will be a qualified First Aider in the workplace for adults, children and infants. For more details about this combined course including the subject areas that are covered click on our course overview below

Through this current period of restriction lifting, we would like to advise you regarding our new options that would be available to qualify or re-qualify delegates as both a First Aid at Work First Aider and Paediatric First Aider. We have been working very closely with our awarding bodies to provide the 2 options below:

6 hours e-Learning and 2-day Classroom Delivery
Attendees will receive joining instructions to complete an approved awarding body e-Learning course which can be accessed anywhere at any time as long as there is an internet connection. This e-Learning course doesn’t need to be completed all in one go and can be done over short sessions as the system will record progress throughout. Successful completion of this would substitute 1-day of classroom delivery and would need to be completed before attending 2 days of face to face delivery at one of our training venues.

3-day Conventional Classroom Delivery
Attend one of our conventional 3-day public courses, at one of our local training venues.

Upon completion, this 3 day combined course awards a First Aid at Work Level 3 (18 hours) and a Paediatric First Aid Level 3 (12 hours) Ofqual regulated certificate to successful attendees. Both qualifications are valid for 3 years and fully meets the requirements of Health & Safety Executive, Ofsted and the Early Years Foundation Stage. Attendees will also receive a First Aid at Work handbook to keep for future reference and will also have exclusive free access to our GEM First Aid annual refresher video training, presented by our GEM trainers, each year until certificate renewal is needed in 3 years’ time. See below a taster of our complimentary GEM First Aid annual refresher video training ↓

All this for only £175 plus vat per person!

COVID-19 Course Information: We want to reassure all delegates of our First Aid public courses during this current period of restriction lifting, before attending, that we are taking extra steps to ensure the protection of yourself and others to maintain high standards concerning hygiene through this time. The health and well-being of our delegates and dedicated team will be a priority, which is why our upcoming public courses will be run in a COVID secure training venue with hand sanitisation stations, reduced attendee numbers and social distancing measures in place. We want to reassure all delegates before attending, that we are taking extra steps to ensure the protection of attendees on our courses to maintain high standards concerning hygiene through this time. We have always maintained the highest standards of cleanliness with all our training equipment, but in addition to our usual hygiene processes which include regularly using disinfectant wipes and changing manikin lungs, we are also now giving all delegates their own training pack. Included in this pack will be a brand new & sealed face shield, gloves, bandages, a face mask for use during the training, as well as First Aid handbook for future reference.
