What is the CITB Skills and Training Fund?
Small, Micro & Medium businesses can apply for up to £25,000 to invest in training and equip your workforce to face the future – no matter how small your business is.
What is a CITB Short Course Grant?
This CITB Grant makes a contribution to a course place that can save you as much as 90% off a course place and there are 1520 short courses on the eligible list. For example you can claim £140 back for a First Aid at Work course place which means you will only pay as little as £20 for this course place once you have claimed your CITB grant!
What is a CITB Short Qualification Grant?
This CITB funding has been put in place to support construction workers transition from an Industry Accredited card (awarded under Grandfather Rights) to a qualification. This funding is mainly aimed at Management and Supervision NVQ’s for people looking to apply for a Gold Supervisory CSCS Cards or a Black Management CSCS Card, These short qualifications can be completed onsite within your organisation and range from 6 – 12 months to complete. It has never been a better time within the industry to take advantage of the above, and upskill your workforce, stay compliant, at a fraction of the cost to your organisation.
Who can apply for the CITB Funding?
You can apply for CITB Funding if you are a CITB-registered employer and up to date with Levy return.
How do you make an application for the CITB Funding?

From start to finish, our CITB Funding Expert Alice Brooksbank, can support your business to claim the above, put your training plan into practice, and also, cross reference these against the Short Course Grants that are also available. What if I am NOT a CITB registered Employer, and/or not knowledgeable about the CITB Levy?
Don’t worry, it is easy to register – and dependent upon the size of your business, you may be exempt from Levy payments, or be eligible for a 50% reduction.
