Do you work with children and need to have a 12 hour Paediatric First Aid qualification that fully meets Ofsted & EYFS requirements?

Then this course should be right for you!

Having the correct Paediatric First Aid provision is not only a statutory requirement for the majority of childcare providers, it is extremely important for the safety of children. Our Paediatric First Aid Level 3 course is ideal for those who work or intend to work in a childcare setting as it has been specifically designed to fulfil Ofsted’s first aid requirements for early years teachers, nursery workers and childminders (as defined within the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage 2014 and within the Child Care Register guide).

Paediatric First Aid 2

Coronavirus Information – As you will be aware, the UK Government have issued further advice for the public and workplaces in relation to COVID-19. The government have advised against ‘social gatherings’ for people to work from home ‘where possible’. Also the advice for those who should self-isolate has been increased.

We should note that First Aid Training is not a ‘social gathering’. It is essential training that is needed by workplaces, particularly when it is not possible for staff to work from home. First Aid Training is essential training that is needed particularly by workplaces where it is not possible for staff to work from home, and particularly when there are severely extended ambulance response times due to the crisis. As such it is NOT a ‘social gathering’.

We have implemented a 10-step plan to ensure hospital-grade infection prevention and control on your course with us. We will teach you about COVID-19 infection prevention and control. This is not only included in the course free of charge – it is the FIRST lesson on the course!

We just wanted to reassure all delegates of our First Aid courses, before attending, that we are taking extra steps to ensure the protection of yourself and others to maintain high standards concerning hygiene through this time. We have always maintained the highest standards of cleanliness with all our training equipment, but in addition to our usual hygiene processes which include regularly using disinfectant wipes and changing manikin lungs, we are also now offering all delegates the opportunity to use a face shield. Currently, guidance from the Resuscitation Council recommend that training, including mouth to mouth resuscitation, still goes ahead as long as good hygiene is followed. We look forward to seeing you on our upcoming GEM First Aid courses!
