Our Blended Learning Emergency First Aid at Work course comprises of 3 hours Video Training and attending 3 hours face to face. Attendees of this course will receive joining instructions to complete our GEM Blended Learning First Aid video training presented by our own GEM trainers. This is the first part of the Emergency First Aid at Work training which is to be completed before attending one of our face to face training session. Our video training course is intended to give an introduction into the course which will be built on when attending our face to face session.

Upon successful completion of this course, attendees will be equipped with the essential skills needed to give safe, prompt and effective first aid in emergency situations. What’s more, as a regulated qualification, employers can book this course for their team members and rest assured that they have fulfilled their legal responsibilities for providing quality first aid training, without having to undertake any lengthy due diligence checks introduced in the recent HSE changes.

Attendees will be awarded a nationally recognised Ofqual regulated certificate valid for 3 years and will receive a Emergency First Aid at Work handbook to keep for future reference. Attendees of this course will also have exclusive free access to our GEM First Aid annual refresher video training, presented by our GEM trainers, each year until certificate renewal is needed in 3 years’ time.

The Resuscitation Council (UK) recently changed the age guidelines for First Aid workplace provision to the following:

  • First Aid at Work (and Emergency First Aid at Work): Qualifies delegates to legally administer First Aid to those aged over 18 years old.
  • Paediatric First Aid: Qualifies delegates to legally administer First Aid to those aged from infancy, up until the age of 18 years.

Yes. This is the first part of the training which is to be completed before attending one of our face to face training sessions. Our video training course is intended to give an introduction into the course which will be built on when attending our face to face session.

We will take payment upon receipt of your order for our training services alternatively at request we can raise and send an invoice which will become payable 7 days prior to the training course commencing.

The dress code for this course is casual - attendees should wear comfortable clothing due to the practical nature of this course. If you have long hair it may be helpful to bring something to tie it back.

Yes. As this is a regulated qualification, all delegates are required to bring photographic identification (such as a passport or driving licence) when attending this course.

It can take up to 21 days to be released from our awarding body. Once we have received it, we will email it straight out to the person who paid for the course place. Certificates will only be released upon receipt of full payment of the training services provided.
