Did you know that all workplace first aiders must complete requalification training every 3 years in order to continue carrying out their role?

Our 12 hour First Aid at Work Level 3 Requalifying Course is specifically designed to allow first aiders to renew their first aid at work qualification when their certificate is due to expire.

Please consider the following rule for attendance. A First Aider can renew their First Aid at Work qualification by attending our First Aid at Work Requalification Level 3 course, if it’s within 1 month past the expiry date. If the First Aider has lapsed beyond 1 month then they must attend a full First Aid at Work Level 3 course. The important thing to remember is that as soon as the certificate expires, the First Aider is no longer considered competent to act as a First Aider in the workplace which may well leave the employer with a shortfall of First Aiders.

**Attendees of this course will be qualified to legally administer First Aid to those aged 18 years of age and over**

6 hours GEM Video Traini day Classroom Delivery
(Attendees will receive joining instructions to complete our GEM Blended Learning First Aid video training which is the first part of the First Aid at Work Requalification training which is to be completed before attending one of our face to face training sessions. Our video training course is intended to give an introduction into the course which will be built on when attending our face to face session.)

Upon successful completion of this course, attendees will be equipped with the essential skills needed to give safe, prompt and effective first aid in emergency situations. What’s more, as a regulated qualification, employers can book this course for their team members and rest assured that they have fulfilled their legal responsibilities for providing quality first aid training, without having to undertake any lengthy due diligence checks introduced in the recent HSE changes.

Attendees will be awarded a nationally recognised Ofqual regulated certificate valid for 3 years and will receive a First Aid at Work handbook to keep for future reference.

Attendees of this course will also have exclusive free access to our GEM First Aid annual refresher video training, presented by our GEM trainers, each year until certificate renewal is needed in 3 years’ time.
